A genuine Pashmina can take days to weeks of skilled handwork. Here is how we turn raw fibre into a refined shawl.
We select soft, fine undercoat fibre from Himalayan goats, graded for length, fineness and purity so every shawl starts with premium raw material.
Skilled hands remove coarse guard hair, dust and impurities from the fibre, which is what gives Pashmina its signature softness.
The cleaned fibre is spun into delicate yarn on the traditional spinning wheel. Hand spinning keeps the thread fine, light and warm.
Our weavers create plain, checked, striped and Kani designs on traditional looms. Intricate Kani patterns are woven thread by thread with small wooden needles.
The woven fabric is carefully washed, dyed in rich colors and finished by hand for a smooth drape and lasting color.
Master artisans add needle-fine Sozni embroidery, Zari borders and detailed motifs. A single heavily embroidered piece can take months to complete.
Traditional Kashmiri techniques passed down through generations of artisans.
Each piece is inspected for weave, finish, color and embroidery before dispatch.
Fair pricing for individual buyers, boutiques and bulk orders, with no middlemen.
