Floral motifs are detailed in the embroidery in an exceptionally neat, clean and filled technique. This Sozni shawl is a symbol of fine cahmere craftsmanship. In this Sozni Shawl we uses a blood red base with white pashmina threads for the embroidery.

This Blood red colour pashmina Sozni Jamwar shawl has a medley of flowers all over kani weave base. The famous Cashmere shawls that were on the height of fashion in last 2 ceturies were woven in a technique called Kani. This kani technique gets its name from the small eyeless bobbin called Kan, used to weave the design into fabric. This Kani technique survives today only in the Kashmir valley.
